Bromeliads are here for the holidays, those exotic, tropical flowering houseplants that also spend their time out on the patio. This little-known group hails from the humid jungles of South America. While many are small air plants, the highly decorative potted forms are adapted to perch in the crotches of jungle trees and hunker down into wet cliffs of river canyons.
