Trematon Castle: a gorgeous garden in the making - Telegraph

Trematon Castle: a gorgeous garden in the making - Telegraph: "It is a rare privilege to be present at the birth of a stunning garden. Some gardens you just know will be special, as they have the right site – and the right people behind them.
When I popped into Trematon Castle recently to see Isabel and Julian Bannerman, the garden designers and builders, it was immediately apparent that their new garden will be something extraordinary.
The site of Trematon Castle near Saltash has belonged to the Dukes of Cornwall since shortly after the Norman conquest, and is a perfect miniature Norman castle. John Betjeman wrote that it had “one of the most superb views of Cornwall, a Brunel stone viaduct crossing a foreground creek, the Lynher and Tamar estuaries beyond, and the wooded slopes of Anthony”."
