GOING BANANAS | The Asbury Park Press | APP.com: "EAGLESWOOD — While most people probably buy their bananas at the supermarket, Susan Wenal of the Cedar Run section of Eagleswood can pick bananas in her own backyard.

“I have 35 banana trees,” she said. “Each year, they get bigger and bigger. Not many people realize what’s back here.”

Wenal is a “natural gardener,” a term used by Rutgers Cooperative Extension to refer to someone who knows how to work with plants and create a lavish garden."
